Abstract- In this paper, we are planning to investigate the amount of erythema in 10 people with skin type III just after the laser hair removal using diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. For studying of spectral trend, 18 spectra, 9 spectra just after the hair removal and 9 spectra before starting laser, were collected from each case from their face region. By comparison of before and after spectra and evaluation sub-peaks, light absorption in hemoglobin absorption peaks shows an increase that seems to be due to increase of blood flow following the local temperature rise in the laser irradiated site. The magnitude of intensity rise is calculated and reported for each of persons.
