- In this paper, we investigate the nonlinear effect of atomic collisions on the power spectrum of the output light of an optical cavity containing a Bose-Einstein Condensate. For this purpose, we describe the atomic field of the condensate by a single-mode quantum field interacting with one of the optical modes of the cavity which is excited by a driving laser. By calculating the phase quadrature power spectrum of the output optical field, we will show that increasing the atomic collision frequency leads to the normal mode splitting of the output optical field power spectrum.
