Abstract: (3787 Views)
In detection of bio-particles, the number of aerosol and bio-particles has been measured separately through two different channels and percentage of them has been reported. We have used a semiconductor laser at 372 nm providing the ability of excitation of riboflavin and NADH and scattering measurement of biological and non-biological aerosols. By use of one source in both channels validity of the system response has been enhanced via simultaneous excitation of the two mentioned agents. The system was tested by nebulizing the specific concentration of Saccharomyces solution. Maximum measurement error was 4.76% which shows very good operation capability of design.
