Abstract: (3490 Views)
In this paper a four-level diamond configuration system interacting with four quantized electromagnetic mode is investigated. In a special case the number of one electromagnetic mode is set to be zero and an additional spontaneous emission between higher and lower levels are considered. Its absorption and dispersion spectrum profile of electromagnetic show some interesting phenomena, e.g.: electromagnetic induced transparency, electromagnetic induced absorption and a sharp band width of gain and absorption. It is shown that these phenomena are controllable by the number of coupling photons and the decay rate coefficient.
