Abstract: (4126 Views)
In this paper we study the linear and nonlinear properties of ZnO nanoparticels and their applications in biology. First of all, we measure photoluminescence spectrum which is single photon process and second harmonic and two-photon absorption which are nonlinear processes. Additionally, we use second harmonic generation of these nanoparticle for imaging from Arabidopsis thaliana cells with nonlinear microscopy.
Keywords: Single photon photoluminescence emission, two photon absorption, second harmonic, nonlinear imaging
