Abstract: (3500 Views)
In this paper, in order to investigate the quantum effects of the invisibility cloaks, we study spontaneous emission of an excited two-level atom are placed near these cloaks and compare our results with the spontaneous emission of aforementioned atom in the absence of these cloaks. Here, the meta-material cloaks are modeled by many thin spherical layers with constant optical parameters which are increased radially. Since, the spontaneous emission corresponding to imaginary part of the Green tensor of the invisibility clocking, we extend the Green tensor for inhomogeneous and isotropic media to its anisotropic one and the effect of the layers number of cloaking and also the orientation of the atomic dipole moment are surveyed over the spontaneous emission of two-level atom.
