Abstract: (874 Views)
The Fresnel zone plate (FZP) is the most common diffractive optical element that has been used in a variety of applications. In some of applications, plenty of FZPs are required to fabricate. Hence, in this paper the design of segmental FZPs to decrease the time of fabrication is investigated. It is shown that these new elements can focus the laser beam and yield petal-like beams due to several segments of the Fresnel lens.
