In the present paper,the Alexandrite pulsed laser oscillator has been designed and simulated with the help of ZEMAX and LASCAD software. The pump chamber,pump source,and the Alexandrite rod whose length and diameter are 115mm and 7mm,respectively have been simulated and analyzed using the ray-tracing approach at ZEMAX. As the next step, the optical oscillator has been simulated by using LASCAD software , and then the thermal analysis and thermal lensing effect and optical resonator simulation have been studied.Finally for 110 joules pumped energy,output energy has been obtained to be 30 Joules which is equivalent to optical-electrical efficiency of 28%.
