In this paper, a metal-dielectric-metal-tooth-shaped plasmonic filter with an asymmetric structure is proposed using the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method. To achieve adjustable resonance, a change in the geometric properties of the structure has been used. Considering the single-toothed structure, it is possible to intensify the two modes m = 0, m = 1. Numerical results show that, considering the desired dimensions, it will be possible to achieve the first mode with a high-quality factor sharp coefficient. The proposed structure is expected to be considered by researchers considering the number of more teeth for practical applications in the range of telecommunication wavelengths.
