In this paper, the transmission spectrum of the third-order one-dimensional photonic crystals containing Dirac semimetal has been investigated for electric polarization in terahertz frequency region, using the transfer matrix method. It has been demonstrated that the photonic band gaps can be tuned by varying the Fermi energy of the Dirac semimetal. In addition, the effect of incident angle on photonic band gaps was investigated. The numerical results show that the Fermi energy have considerable effect on modification of photonic band gaps, but the incident angle have negligible effect.
