Abstract:   (3054 Views)

In this paper, it is shown how to generate the graphene (G) and nitrogen doped graphene (GN) by using the laser ablation of graphite target in liquid Argon and liquid nitrogen, respectively. These are compared with the graphene generated by mechanical exfoliation using Raman Spectroscopy, transmittance electron microscope (TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The graphene synthesized in liquid Argon shows less chemical pollution and more quality than graphene with mechanical exfoliation. However, graphene doped nitrogen is generated in liquid nitrogen because of reactivity of nitrogen. The graphene structure generated by laser ablation gains some advantage such as easy specs collection, low synthesis cost and a single stage process.
