In this paper the absorption spectrum of a gold/silica/graphene structure is investigated. The absorber structure is considered as silica circles with a graphene coating placed in a gold host. The results showed that by adding a 1 nm layer of graphene between silica and gold, the absorption increases up to 99.8%. Furthermore, by changing some geometric parameters, it is possible to adjust the wavelength of the absorption peak.
