In this paper, an all-optical plasmonic OR gate is proposed. The gate structure is based on metal-insulator-metal waveguides with nano-cavity resonator. The performance of the gate is simulated via finite difference time domain method. The constructive interference of resonance modes in the nano-cavity, provides the desired operation. Due to the compact size of the structure, it has capability to be utilized in photonic integrated circuits.
